Jase Richardson

With the amount of talent nationally in terms of the class of 2024 it is hard to believe there are some highly touted players that are still flying under the radar. In the case of Bishop Gorman High G Jase Richardson, he has gone a bit unnoticed by some from a national perspective but has the game and the tools to back up his top 25 ranking. The 6’3 do it all guard is the son of former Michigan St standout Jason Richardson and is poised and primed to make himself a household name.

Richardson is the ultimate package from the guard position. He has a natural feel for the game and makes plays whenever his team needs him to. His ball handling skills and speed separate him for many other guards, as well as his above average court vision. In the open floor he can find open teammates, or he can get to the rim and finish with either hand. He has put in a tremendous amount of working improving his range on his shot and become a legit three level scorer. His leadership ability is something that has shown to be a point of separation from other players in the region and why he has steadily become a national level talent.

His speed and size allow him to keep his opponents in front of him on defense as well as anticipate steals by playing the passing lanes and getting deflections. Richardson is the ultimate competitor who gets better every time he steps on the floor. His play on the court has not just been noticed by the people on the west coast but schools across the country.

He currently holds offers from the likes of Arizona St, Arkansas, Eastern Michigan, Michigan St, Florida, Stanford, Washington, and Western Illinois. Look for this list to continue to grow as we head into the final stretch of the summer recruiting period.
